Individual teachers and
parents are welcome to
download, at no charge, the 14 units of this title
to print / photocopy for use with your own students. Each download is
in
PDF format, and contains all the pages in that unit. It also
includes a copyright page that includes a statement giving you
permission to photocopy the
pages for use by your own students.
You may print out the pages and photocopy from those, but
most large office photocopy machines will accept direct digital inputs
including PDF files. That will usually give the best, most consistent
results. Copy two sided to keep the double page layout design. You
should run a few pages as a trial to your school photocopy
machine, and adjust the lighter/darker printing control if needed.
Be sure to
select print / photocopy at 100% full size / original size, NOT "fit to
size"! You do
not need to include the copyright / permission page in the sets
of pages you run for your students.
Please see the Information
Page for ideas and tips for using this title most effectively with
your students.
The
complete Teacher Key pages are
posted on this web site. Go to the home page,
click on
the links for a section, then look for the key symbol when the index
page for that section opens. There are also links to lots of
interesting and engaging resources, such as historical photo sets and
short videos.
Our goal is to make clear, concise, and
engaging materials
for the study of U.S. history widely available
to
teachers and students everywhere.
Thank you for all you do to teach
America's story, and its values, to your students.
