Free downloads - all units - for teachers and parents
   Frameworks for America's Past

Individual teachers and parents are welcome to download, at no charge, all the units of this title, including the Appendix, and to make photocopies of those pages for use with their own students. Each download is in PDF format, and contains all the pages in that unit.

You can print out a set of the pages and photocopy from those, but most school photocopy machines will accept direct digital inputs such as these PDF files. That will give the best, most consistent results.

Important:  Be sure to select Actual Size, 100% Size, or Size As In Document, NOT "Fit to Size"!
Copy two sided to keep the double page layout design (except for the geography review maps in the Appendix section - print those one to a page).

Please see the Information Page for ideas and tips for using this title most effectively with your students.

The complete Teacher Key pages are posted on this web site. Go to the home page, click on the links for a section, then look for the key symbol when the index page for that section opens. There are also links to lots of interesting and engaging resources, such as historical photo sets and short videos.

To get started, click here to download the Limited Permission to Photocopy page.  Please read it over, then click on the links below to download the unit or units you wish to use in your classes.
